Breaking away from the day to day
It’s a rainy day here in Miami. The kind of day that you want to throw on some sweats, curl up under a blanket, and read a book or watch a movie. But, alas, I’ve got a million and one things to do, so I’ll have to refrain. I’m secretly hoping that Little Ricky’s game…

Today is the last day of June and we have successfully made it through 1/3 of summer break. We took a couple quick trips to Orlando…nothing fancy. In recent weeks, it’s been about working on the summer reading assignments that the kids have, going on “hang-outs” with friends (did you know they aren’t “play dates”…
It’s officially summer and I am so excited to slow down just a bit…at least with my kids’ jam packed schedules. This is the time for pool and beach days, sleeping in and Netflix marathons! My husband and I just finished Breaking Bad (we know we are a few years late…) and I’m finishing up…

This week has be UTTERLY exhausting! My brother-in-law got married over the weekend. Now, I am babysitting my 2 year old nephew for the week. I’ve forgotten what it was like to have a toddler!! As I mentioned in Midweek Meandering #8, we had the great opportunity of attending a screening of Dolphin Tale 2. The movie was so moving that we had to take a trip to Clearwater, Florida to meet the stars, Winter and Hope in person. WOW! What an amazing experience. I spent the whole day crying…
