Breaking away from the day to day
Today is the last day of June and we have successfully made it through 1/3 of summer break. We took a couple quick trips to Orlando…nothing fancy. In recent weeks, it’s been about working on the summer reading assignments that the kids have, going on “hang-outs” with friends (did you know they aren’t “play dates”…
It’s officially summer and I am so excited to slow down just a bit…at least with my kids’ jam packed schedules. This is the time for pool and beach days, sleeping in and Netflix marathons! My husband and I just finished Breaking Bad (we know we are a few years late…) and I’m finishing up…

This week has be UTTERLY exhausting! My brother-in-law got married over the weekend. Now, I am babysitting my 2 year old nephew for the week. I’ve forgotten what it was like to have a toddler!! Someone who follows you everywhere and needs constant attention. He’s absolutely adorable, but absolutely EXHAUSTING! Not to mention, “The Nag”…
