I love going out to eat.
Not only is it a way for me to get out of cooking and cleaning for a night, but I really just like how the food just seems to taste better in a restaurant. Maybe it’s because I’m not the one cooking or cleaning up after.
On Monday nights, we visit a local taco shop for dinner. I know the saying is “taco Tuesday,” but this place has $1 tacos on Mondays (maybe they didn’t get the memo). How can you pass up $1 tacos? My whole family can eat for like $15. Sometimes we even spring for a drink! Ha!
Not only are we eating cheap tacos, but they have unlimited freshly made tortilla chips and a salsa bar. I love warm tortilla chips with the light salt!
My favorite condiment for my chips is Salsa Verde.
The fresh ingredients just make this Salsa Verde so crisp and delicious. Not to mention it’s so easy to make.
Why should I limit my salsa verde intake to just Mondays? How about on a Saturday with a cold Corona-Rita by the pool? I know you feel me….
