Our Spring Break was FINALLY here, and we were headed on a week long trip on The Carnival Breeze! We couldn’t get on board fast enough!
So, we MAY have packed a lot…but we were SO excited to go away for a week, we didn’t want to forget anything!
We made it through customs like a breeze (no pun intended) and were escorted to the VIP waiting area until we were allowed to board The Carnival Breeze.
The ship is HUGE! The sheer size is so overwhelming!
We went to our room and were surprised by not only the beautiful view from our balcony, but the welcome basket of fruits and cheeses accompanied by a bottle of champagne. (I love surprises!)
We then we went to find something to eat. That wasn’t a hard conquest since there is a place to eat on almost every square inch of the ship. Next, we explored the ship from top to bottom. The kids played a round of mini golf on the SportSquare and practiced their exercise skills on the exercise equipment.
For dinner, we met our wait staff for the week in the Sapphire Dining Room. They made a point of learning our names and our varied likes. (I wish I could do that…)
We continued our tour of the ship by heading to The Warehouse, the 24 Hr. video arcade. The kids were in HEAVEN! It was their very own “casino.” Equipped with skeeball, basketball games, racing games, and a giant Fruit Ninja, they wanted to stay all night.
I finally convinced them to leave for a late night swim. There are even “Dive In Movies” by the pool each night!
When we got back to our room, we were greeted by our first towel friend, a kangaroo looking fella (to be honest, we had no idea what it was, but it sure was cute!)
What an amazing trip! Great pictures!
Thanks Lisa! And that was only the first day! MORE TO COME!!
Wow! That looks absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to see photos from the rest of your trip!
I can’t wait to share more!!
That sounds like such an awesome trip! I love Carnival Cruises! In fact, we go on a lot of cruises out of Long Beach, California. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
It really was an awesome trip! I can’t believe I was ever nervous about taking my kids on a cruise. Best vacation for families!
