As a busy busy mom, I stay swamped with everything that needs to be done! Not just sometimes. ALL. THE. TIME. And when the holidays come along, you can just forget it! I’m running around here like a crazy woman (if I could possibly get any crazier).
From shopping for the presents, to making sure my kids’ holiday parties are all scheduled, to picking up food to eat, I have to have TO-DO lists just to remember my TO-DO lists!
To save me a little bit of time (and of course my sanity) I like going to places where I can cross off a ton of things from those lists. A place that has everything I need to keep this family going. I head to BJ’s Wholesale Club to try and get what I need for the holiday dinners that surround the actual holiday itself and hopefully some last minute gifts and wrapping.
If you know me at all, I just can’t wait for dinner. (My new favorite word is CHARCUTERIE.) I ADORE cheese! Any kind of cheese is ok by me, but my favorites are Manchego and Parmesan…the stronger the better. And I was recently introduced to Dalmatia Fig Spread….uh, YUM! I don’t like figs, but this spread on top of my favorite strong cheese and a cracker is delicious…and addicting!
What goes best with cheese & meats? Wine of course! BJ’s has rows of wine at great prices! And of course they have my favorite bubbly in time for Christmas and New Years…
If you’re looking for last minute gifts like me, you will find tons of ideas! The toy selection is fantastic and they even have some marked as the Top 10 Toys on everyone’s list. This comes in handy when you just don’t know what to get the kids.
Don’t forget about the “toys” for the big kids. My husband wants a grill for his camping trips with the kids, although I’m sure his “wish” is the new curved TV . And I’m on the hunt for a patio set. But then again, diamonds would be nice….
Thankfully at BJ’s Wholesale Club I can, also, grab those other household items, such as paper plates and canned goods, saving me so much needed time!
Whewww… now that I got that finished I can focus on the other thousand things on my to-do list!
*Disclaimer: Although I was compensated for this post, all procrastinating and opinions are honestly my own!*
