My kids’ baseball schedule keeps us pretty busy. Between practices, gym time and games, we are always on the go. This crazy schedule always impedes on regular eating times. I don’t know what it is with the people who make the schedules for all of these baseball events, but it’s like they don’t eat at normal times.
In this house we like to eat dinner at 6 o’clock, 7 the latest. And don’t you know it, some sort of practice or game happens right smack in the middle of those times. We refuse to eat dinner at 4 o’clock…after all we aren’t retired. So it’s important to eat something before heading out the door.
If I tell the kids to grab a snack before they walk out the door, chances are very high that they will grab chips or cookies. Although yummy, they will not sustain them for the long hours of baseball. That means I want my guys to eat a snack that will fill them up.
Ellio’s frozen pizza is a convenient way to provide a filling and fun snack or meal that you can feel good about serving your kids. I’m not perfect at time management, which makes Ellio’s especially great because I can heat it up while getting all of the baseball gear ready for the car. Before getting dressed, we can sit and enjoy a filling snack that we don’t have to feel guilty about.
Ellio’s only uses the freshest ingredients, with 100% real cheese and no artificial flavors so I don’t feel like I’m filling the kids up with junk before they head out onto the field. I like to pair our pizza with carrots and ranch dressing or apple slices to round out the snack.
Ellio’s Pizza is available in six different flavors! Flavors include: Cheese, Pepperoni, Supreme, Five Cheese, Italian Sausage & Pepperoni, & Extra Cheese so there’s something for everyone. Did I mention that the package includes 3 rectangle pizzas that break into three pieces? They are the perfect snack size.
Although I can’t control the schedule for our busy baseball life, I can control what my kids eat.
