Boys are always hungry. Morning, noon, night, and every time in between, they are constantly eating.
I like to keep foods readily available that will fill them up. If I left my boys to their own devices, they would be eating chips and junk all day long. That’s why I try to make snacks that they love and I don’t have to feel so bad that they are eating.
One recipe that we like to make together is one for Peanut Butter Cheerios Bars. The whole family loves Cheerios and we keep them in the pantry at all times. Pair them with peanut butter and you have a recipe for success!
The peanut butter and honey are a great combo of salty sweetness for this treat. And the Cheerios add a soft crunchy feel to the bars. My mouth is watering just typing…
These bad boys are great with an ice cold glass of milk, or for sneaking into the kitchen for a midnight snack (shhh don’t tell the kids…).
Don’t even get me started with how easy they are to make. We whip them up in no time for a fun afternoon snack or an after dinner dessert while watching our favorite show.
These Peanut Butter Cherrios Bars will be a great way for you to keep the grumbling stomachs at bay in your house!
