I feel so guilty eating out all the time. Jam packed schedules make it really hard to eat at home due to the time it takes to prepare meals. By the time we get home most days, it’s close to 8:30pm and if I start cooking then, we won’t eat until 9 or 9:30pm. I know I live in Miami and many people down here eat that late, but I’m not one of them.
I don’t know if I honestly thought that the summer would be more laid back or what, but apparently we are just as busy as ever! Our sports life never stops. If it’s not a flag football game, then it’s practice. And when it’s not a football day, we have baseball. Always on the go….
Needless to say, quick and easy meals are my go to for our crazy schedule. Anything that can be made in under 30 minutes or ahead of time really saves my sanity!
