Hey all you “exhausted moms!” Do you need to bake cookies for a fun family gathering? How about the last minute bake sale at soccer? Yeah, you can go and buy that really convenient pre-made cookie dough that you just plop on the pan. They are awesome for a quick warm cookie fix, but where’s the “rock star” factor in those?
These Cake Mix M&M Cookies will make you shine like Justin Timberlake on stage! And what’s even better is that you can change the M&Ms to match the current holiday. I used red and green ones for this batch. Just in time for Christmas! And how about the personalized M&Ms with people’s faces on them…so personal!
I don’t know about you, but when I find cake mix on sale at the store I grab a few and keep them in the pantry. You never know when you’re in the mood for a nice warm piece of cake, right? (Is that just me?) Now you can use cake mix for more than just cakes and cupcakes. How about some yummy cookies? Oh, you heard me right. Cookies.

i have a recipe like this. it’s one box of cake mix, one tub of cool whip {i use the light} and one egg. mix it tetogher and drop onto the pan like you did. you can roll them in powdered sugar or sprinkle them then bake at 350 for about ten minutes until the tops crack . sooooooo yummy and {kind of} good for you. 🙂
Thanks for sharing David! Will have to try that one soon….
I will definitely have to try these! My favorite cake mix recipe: “Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone” bars. I make these babies all through the year, alternating cake mixes and the baking chip flavors according to the season. Strawberry in summer, spice mix in the fall and chocolate combined with mint for Christmas. Yum!
