Last year, I came up with 13 ways to be a better me in 2013. I wanted to review the list now that we have started 2014. Here is how I did:
1) Drink more water.
Still working on this one…
2) Take better care of my skin.
I think I could still do a better job at this one. Going to make an appointment with my Dermatologist this week…
3) Exercise regularly.
There was a period where I took a break from this (about a 3 month break), but I’m doing ok with this one. I’m planning on being better.
4) Family dinners.
We have gotten better at this one (except during baseball season).
5) Eat out only once a week (or less).
Yeah….um….not there yet.
6) Reduce my sugar intake.
I was doing really well with this for about 6 months…time to work on that again.
7) Cut the clutter.
I totally nailed this by moving this summer…threw away A LOT!
8) Take advantage of my city.
Apparently this needs to be on my list again….I suck.
9) Date night.
When he’s in town, we try to do this either alone or with friends.
10) Read more.
Reading a lot actually. When I was taking the train into work, I had lots of time to read!
11) Stop obsessing about my weight.
Not obsessed…and feel like I’m getting fatter….
12) Learn to let it go.
This is a character flaw of mine.
13) Be thankful.
I am thankful every day.
So all in all, I was able to keep
most ok, some of my resolutions from 2013
